Down To I Do is a Wedding and Event planning company based out of New Bern, NC. Though we are based in New Bern, we serve couple all over Eastern North Carolina. We pride ourselves on the knowledge and strong relationships we have built within the wedding industry with our local vendors. We focus on creating a stress free wedding experience that you will look back on with joy and love for the rest of your life.

  • Hello friends! My name is Tamara and I am so happy that you have found yourself here. I am the Owner and Lead Planner & Coordinator here at ‘Down To I Do’, and I truly love this industry that I am blessed to be apart of. I am married to the sweetest man in the world (yes, I am biased) and we live in New Bern, NC with my sister and our pup, Eli. Our lives are a little chaotic at times, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.Wedding planning is my true passion, and I feel so blessed to have found my calling and purpose in life. I believe that every Bride & Groom should be able to enjoy all aspects of their day, and love to help make this happen. Sitting down with couples and discussing their visions and dreams for their day and helping them make that happen is truly an amazing thing. Your wedding day is one of the most special days of your life and I believe that you should be able to enjoy the journey and make all the memories you can. We strive to make wedding planning as stress free and FUN as possible while also keeping that budget in mind. I cannot wait to hear from you and make your day a dream come true!

I am from Chesapeake, VA, but currently live in Elizabeth City, NC with my husband John and our three kitties. I have always loved weddings and the joy they bring to life, but really fell in love with the planning process while planning my own wedding.   • Hi friends! My name is Lexie Williamson and I am so excited to join the ‘Down To I Do’ team! I live in Greenville, NC with mu husband, daughter, and our two dogs. Our love story started in high school and has now lead us to almost three years of marriage. I love all things family, travel, and wedding!
